RegEx Add-in Functions
However, the newly released features have a ‘small’ problem. They are available exclusively to Microsoft 365 subscribers who can enjoy the advantages of the new features. We thought it might be worth making a change.
Starting today, our add-in supports the three new functions, starting from Excel 2010. So, if you use an older version of Excel (Excel 2013, Excel 2016, etc.), you won’t have to miss out on RegEx.
Supported Functions:
- REGEXEXTRACT
- REGEXREPLACE
- REGEXTEST
Check the DataFX add-in and try the new functions.
You need to know that we update the add-in multiple times weekly, implementing various optimizations to keep all features up-to-date. With the introduction of RegEx, we have taken another big step forward to ensure that the latest developments are as widely usable as possible.
Thank you for all the support we received regarding the development. We are trying to implement every useful idea in the future.
